Strategy Session
The goal of this service plan is to help you take stock of your idea and whittle it down into a thesis. Through an in-depth intake questionnaire and a written critique of your writing sample, we'll get clear on your audience and publishing goals so you can use your thesis to draft a compelling pitch statement.

Monthly Book Coaching
The goal of this service plan is to help you set and follow through on strategic writing goals that will prepare you to achieve your publishing goal. Here, I will serve as an accountability partner, providing you with 1:1 support and developmental editing as you work to complete your manuscript or book proposal.
With this process, you will receive:
Accelerated writing plans with higher page limits can be negotiated.
Copy Editing
I reserve a limited amount of time each quarter to take on copy editing projects. For writers pursuing traditional publishing, I provide editing services by agent referral only. If you are interested in working with me, please have your agent reach out via my contact form. For writers seeking to self publish, we must first complete a consultation to determine whether your manuscript is ready for late-stage editing.
With this service, you will receive:
I serve writers in a way that makes sense to them.
Through my experience as an editor of literary and scholarly journals, I help memoir and nonfiction authors build their best draft from the ground up. Through my experience as a research assistant, I set them up for success.
A good editor is tough where it matters and compassionate where it counts. I chose this career because I deeply enjoy the human connection made possible by books. When I look at a bookshelf, I see the people who committed their time and passion to their stories. I want to do my part to help you get your work on that shelf!
Recently took time to build a large book proposal and a few accompanying chapters. I was struggling to find the thread to tie it all together. Enter Zoë Wright. Let me tell you, she is amazing at helping you find the right direction and to find the themes within your work. She's also a great editor and easy to work with.
She reminded me of some of my basic guiding principles as well when helping me focus. And because of that, she helped me to remember who I was at the core of all that I'm doing.
If you have a project that could use some focus or some work that needs a good editor, check her out.
